Autumn School: Mobile App Development

The Bristol Branch of the BCS invites you to a series of talks over four weeks covering what you need to know to be able to develop and sell your own mobile phone applications. The talks will be held University of Bristol , Room 1.11A, Merchant Venturers Building in the centre of Bristol.

Developing your Mobile Application
Everything you need to know about developing an app: operating systems, development languages, SDK's etc. And how to test your application.

Wed 20 November
Distinguishing your mobile application
Continuing on from the development session but you will learn more about the types of features that you may want to use to distinguish your application e.g. GPS, actuator, compass, building an attractive GUI, etc.

Marketing and selling your application
How to market, sell and monetize your application
Speakers: Chris Brook
